Clock voodoo
/Last night we were actually up late enough to participate in the Daylight Savings Time. Do you ever feel like you have to go back and repeat that whole hour again when that happens? Like – 'oh man. I just lost that hour. Now I have to re-do the whole damn thing!' Or maybe that's just me...
I know the original rational for daylight savings time was to give farmers extra light to harvest their pumpkins or some such, but I ask you, how many farmers actually had clocks to set back and forth at the time? And honestly, it's not like it's actually *saving* anything. Not like we're actually creating daylight with our magical clock voodoo. 'OK, if everyone gets together and sets their clocks back an hour, the solar system will get confused and we'll actually MAKE extra time!'
Oh, the power of numbers
